Ost. Med.) <\/span>at <\/span>Bucks New University<\/em> <\/span>in the United Kingdom. Before that, he worked for over ten years as a <\/span>Master Manual Therapist <\/span>and <\/span>Sports Physiotherapist (MSc).<\/p>\n

In <\/span>2022 <\/span>Marc completed the specialization \u2018<\/a>Osteopathy for Children\u2019<\/a> <\/span>\u2014 a two-year program that further deepened his knowledge and insight into examining and treating <\/span>babies and children <\/span>further. Among others, the lessons of the <\/span>highly experienced and passionate osteopath Ren\u00e9 Zweedijk, whom he also assists during the module <\/span>\u2018Central Nervous System\u2019, have strongly influenced Marc. Since <\/span>2023 <\/span>he has been a <\/span>lecturer at PRO Osteo<\/a>, where he teaches within the curriculum <\/span>\u2018Osteopathy for Children\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

For further specialization, Marc studied at the <\/span>Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy (SCCO)<\/a><\/em> in England, where he expanded his knowledge in both the field of <\/span>regular osteopathy <\/span>and <\/span>pediatric osteopathy <\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The collaboration with <\/span>Ton van der Heiden, who took him under his wing as a <\/span>mentor, is something Marc experiences as particularly valuable. Marc has now fully integrated the unique method of examination that Ton developed into his own way of working \u2014 an approach that <\/span>curiosity, precision, and craftsmanship <\/span>combines.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

With <\/span>enthusiasm and dedication <\/span>Marc works daily with his patients to achieve the best possible result. He treats <\/span>babies, children, and adults, both <\/span>athletes and non-athletes, with a wide variety of complaints.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What fascinates him most is the <\/span>interconnectedness between the various tissues and body systems. The body is a single whole in which everything is connected.
For Marc, that insight forms the core of <\/span>osteopathic thinking: always looking for the <\/span>real cause <\/span>of a complaint.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Sten has been associated with Andromeda Center for Osteopathy since 2024. In that same year, he completed his studies at the International Academy of Osteopathy (I.A.O.)<\/a> and earned his Master of Science at Bucks New University (UK). Before that, he worked as a physiotherapist for seven years. During this period, he discovered that some complaints remained persistent and difficult to explain. His curiosity and the need for a broader view of health led him to osteopathy. The holistic approach to the human being, with a focus on supporting the body’s self-healing capacity, brought him the knowledge and skills he was looking for. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As an osteopath, Sten looks beyond the complaint alone. He searches for possible disruptions and interconnections in the body that may contribute to the development or maintenance of complaints. He likes to actively involve his patients in the treatment process by providing insight into the origin of their complaints. His friendly, calm, and analytical approach ensures that you, as a patient, feel heard and understood. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Sten continues to develop within his profession. He is currently following a specialization in osteopathy for babies and children. A logical next step, given his experience and interest in this target group. He has also fully woven the research method, developed by osteopath and former colleague Ton van der Heiden, into his approach. Therefore, he looks beyond the complaint alone and investigates which connections within the body may play a role. <\/p>\n

In his treatments, Jonne finds it important to listen carefully and take the time for the story behind the complaint. Calmness, trust, and clear explanation are central to his way of treating. He likes to involve patients in the treatment process and provides explanations about his findings and the treatment. <\/p>\n

He also continues to develop within his profession. Recently, he started the two-year specialization \u2018Osteopathy for Babies and Children\u2019 at PRO Osteo.
